Education & Experience
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering/Science Engineering or Geosciences discipline

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years as Wells supervisor.
- Supervise on-site the execution of all well delivery activities on the assigned work unit, in compliance with Personal Health and Safety, Wells Process Safety and Environmental Protection Standards, as outlined in CP-122, Health, Safety and Environment Mgmt System – CoP and subordinate Standards; personally conduct related compliance assurance audits (e.g. on compliance with PR-1172, Permit to Work Procedure, training requirements established for personnel working on site, the lifting and lifted equipment registers, the Certificates of Conformance (CoC) etc.).
- Ensure that all people working on assigned work units develop a habit of identifying, mitigating and controlling all risks associated with the operation
- Drive the implementation of the annual UWD Business and HSE plans on assigned work units
- As Company Senior Site representative drive compliance of all activities with terms and conditions of the contract, both on the work unit and the associated camp.
- As Company Senior Site representative drive compliance with hygiene and occupational health standards on the work site and in the associated camp.
- Coordinate rig site response to incidents and accidents. Responsible for doing a first-line investigation and reporting of all accidents and incidents on the location.
- With a sound understanding of customers’ requirements and acting as “a last line of defense” against failure and incidents, challenge the work program vis-a-vis inconsistencies and errors prior to execution; smoothly manage interfaces, on-site and between site and coastal base as well as between the disciplines involved in hydrocarbon delivery (HSE, WE Planning & Design, Subsurface disciplines in the Assets, Civil Engineering, Contracts, Contractors, HSE, New Technology) to maximise efficiency, effectiveness and value of Well Delivery activities
- Supervise the introduction of new technologies in the operation, improve efficiency and remove waste in order to achieve sustained improvement in the operation on assigned work unit
- Report and quality check the well data reported in company reporting systems in order to provide high quality data stored in data management systems.
- Lead people on the assigned work unit to exhibit Lean behaviors, in compliance with PDO’s corporate Lean deployment Model, in all activities performed within their daily business to realize continuous sustained performance improvement.
- Use the Well Engineering KIM framework to ensure that learning from well construction and maintenance activities is fed back to the relevant parties to drive further optimizations of well contracting, well planning and design, civil works, as well as rig and hoist operations and contribute towards making UWD a learning organization.
- Motivate, coach, mentor and develop direct and indirect subordinates.

- In the HPHT segment of the portfolio, to ensure flawless execution of wells operations in deep HPHT and HPLT environments, with low drilling margins, complex well designs and shallow hazards, pushing the limits of operational performance.
