ISO TANKS AND CONTAINER DEPOT DIRECTOR

DUTIES:-

• Cost control of the depot according to the budget.
• Monthly billing of open yard services and complaint handling.
• Maintenance- and repair budget control including cost tracking .
• Customer service and sales support of the container depot / yard § Preparations and support of tenders for the open yard depot
• Personal responsibility for 3-6 employees.
• ensuring compliance with the high level of health and safety standards.
• Coordination and allocation of all necessary work in the container depot / container yard (for example, container handling, storage, reach stacker truck coordination, FLT coordination, etc).
• Creation of job descriptions, risk assessments, as well as working and operating instructions.
• Conducting employee training's of direct team
• Marketing and Operational responsibility for 'container storage' of ISO Tank containers at the depot
• Marketing depot and meeting sales targets.
• Tanks cleaning station marketing.
• Drumming filling facility marketing.
• Inventory management and recording of all container movements.
• Storage space allocation of ISO Tank Container in compliance with legal and operational requirements.
• Implementation of driver and vehicle controls regarding approval and dangerous goods specifications.
• Technical responsibility for the depot open yard area in close cooperation with the other services and the operation manager.
• Coordination and implementation of maintenance, repair and inspection of used technical equipment and the storage areas (large equipment trucks, reach stacker truck, fork lift trucks, other equipment, extinguishing system, dangerous containment container, etc)
• Employees approval procedures.

Q UALIFICATION:-

Graduate/University degree in chemical engineer, logistics and/or supply chain management.

Experience: min 5 years’ experience in operation services with ISO Tank Container and container with total of 10-15 years of experience in supply chain.

BACKGROUND:-

• A thorough knowledge of the container/ ISO tank business (transportation, storage, handling).
• Technical competence, particularly for container / ISO tanks.
• Thorough knowledge of handling dangerous goods.
• Experience in continual improvement processes. Computer literate
• Excellent English language skills, spoken and written.
