About the Role

You will own day to day QA/QC inspections, documentation control and quality follow up for onsite works in Musqat. This role focuses on turning Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) into clear inspection requests, evidence packs and closed out NCRs, keeping quality records audit ready at all times. You will work closely with site construction teams and subcontractors to verify compliance, raise non conformances when required, and drive corrective actions through to closure. Your work will directly affect acceptance of works, handover quality and audit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute QA/QC inspections in line with approved ITPs, method statements and project specifications.

Prepare, submit and track inspection requests with the client or consultant, coordinating witness and hold points.

Review materials delivery documentation, certificates and traceability records to confirm compliance before use on site.

Maintain QA/QC documentation packs, including inspection reports, checklists, test results and as built quality records.

Raise NCRs for non conforming work or materials, clearly describing the issue, evidence and required containment actions.

Drive corrective actions with site teams and subcontractors, verifying implementation and closing out NCRs with objective evidence.

Conduct internal quality audits against the Quality Management System (QMS) and support external or client audits when scheduled.

Monitor recurring defects and non conformances, analyse root causes with stakeholders, and recommend preventive measures.

Verify calibration status and suitability of inspection and test equipment used onsite for quality control activities.

Coordinate laboratory or third party testing where required, reviewing results against acceptance criteria and reporting outcomes.

Qualifications

10+ years of QA/QC experience on construction or industrial projects in an onsite role

Hands on experience performing QA/QC inspections and controlling inspection documentation through to handover

Ability to develop, implement or work to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) including hold points and witness points

Proven experience raising inspection requests and coordinating inspections with client or consultant representatives

Track record managing NCRs (Non Conformance Reports) from identification through corrective action verification and closure

Experience planning or participating in quality audits and maintaining audit ready records

Working knowledge of ISO 9001 principles as applied within a Quality Management System (QMS)
