About the Role

Our client is looking for an Internal Audit Specialist to support audit activities, evaluate business processes, and strengthen internal control frameworks. This role is suited to a professional with experience in auditing or accounting who can analyze financial information, identify control gaps, and provide practical recommendations to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audit reviews to evaluate adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.

• Examine financial records, reports, and operational processes to identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, and potential risks.

• Assess existing internal controls and recommend measures to improve their effectiveness.

• Document audit findings and prepare clear reports with practical recommendations for management.

• Work closely with different departments to understand processes, address audit observations, and improve operational practices.

• Track corrective actions and verify that agreed-upon audit recommendations are implemented.

• Support ongoing improvements in risk management, compliance, and internal governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in internal audit or accounting.

• Sound understanding of accounting principles, auditing methodologies, and internal control practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

• Ability to prepare structured reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
